Manager Override Controls
Manager override codes allow a supervisor to complete a restricted task without the cashier having to cancel the sale in progress, log out, and the supervisor to login. A cashier can get to a point in the transaction, like price change, call the supervisor to the register and the supervisor can simply enter their password to complete the function.
This is a timesaving and useful feature designed to be a seamless integration of day-to-day operations. By providing an easy and efficient method of overriding a limited function, more restrictions are likely to be utilized.
